Finally, the Hi Hat of Our Collective Dreams is Reality

The long-awaited Clutch module is a dual sample player built specifically for creating dynamic, expressive hi-hat sounds through an immediately playable interface.

With two layers of samples, Clutch lets you blend dependable “bread-and-butter” built in hits with a massive library of sample pairs hosted on a memory card. The controls for the card based samples are always accessible and intuitively arranged, making it easy to dial in sounds quickly during performance or patching. And yes, you can load your own samples!

The second layer lives on assignable knobs and is intentionally inaccessible via CV. This ensures that no matter how wild your modulation or sound design gets on layer A, whether from hands-on tweaking or external CV, layer B is ready for the breakdown. It’s your steady, set-and-forget foundation that keeps the groove anchored.

A CV Disable switch lets you instantly cut modulation, snapping back to the sound defined by your current knob positions. Perfect for live sets, quick resets, or moments when you just want to return to that sweet spot.

Onboard effects and a Chimera-inspired “Feel” control take Clutch beyond static sample playback, letting you control the groove, add movement, character, and dynamics to every hit.

Clutch cuts through the noise with pure sound and unmatched versatility thanks to it's sample based architecture while it's intuitive interface keeps your performance at your fingertips.

In this house, there is rhythm, there is swing. In this house, there is Clutch.
